“Japan’s Baba Vanga” Warns of Massive July 2025 Tsunami—But Should We Be Worried?

2025 has already thrown the world a few curveballs—and now, a new warning is catching people’s attention.

A Japanese woman named Ryo Tatsuki, often compared to the famous Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga, has made a chilling prediction: a mega tsunami could strike parts of Asia in July 2025.

Who is Ryo Tatsuki?

Originally known as a manga artist, Tatsuki became famous not for her art—but for her dreams.

Since the 1980s, she claims to have had vivid, prophetic dreams that seem to mirror real-world disasters. In 1999, she published a manga titled The Future I Saw, based on these dreams. Over time, readers began to notice that several of her illustrated “dreams” seemed to line up with events that happened later.

Some of her reported predictions include:

  • Freddie Mercury’s death (1991)

  • The 1995 Kobe earthquake

  • The 2011 tsunami in Japan

  • A virus in 2020 that many believe referenced COVID-19

She even noted in her diary on August 31, 1992, the cryptic phrase: “Diana? Died?”—exactly five years before Princess Diana’s tragic death.

Her Latest Prediction: July 2025

Tatsuki says she’s seen visions of the ocean boiling south of Japan—what some believe points to an undersea volcanic eruption, powerful enough to trigger a massive tsunami.

The predicted impact zone is huge—stretching across Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, and the Northern Mariana Islands, forming a “diamond-shaped” region.

She also described “dragon-like shapes” moving toward the area—another mysterious image that some think could symbolize disaster or seismic activity.

Should We Take This Seriously?

While Tatsuki has had a history of eerily specific predictions, experts urge caution.

  • There is no scientific proof backing her claims.

  • However, geologists do agree that the area she described—including the Pacific Ring of Fire and Nankai Trough—is known for its potential for large earthquakes and tsunamis.

So while her warning may not be scientifically grounded, it isn’t completely out of the question from a geological standpoint.

Final Thoughts

Whether you believe in prophecy or not, it’s clear that Ryo Tatsuki’s predictions have people talking—and perhaps reflecting on how fragile and unpredictable nature can be.

For now, experts recommend staying informed through official geological monitoring and not giving in to panic.

Let’s hope her latest vision doesn’t come to pass.
