Prince Louis is at it again—charming the nation with his candid reactions and cheeky sense of humor. During the 80th anniversary of VE Day (Victory in Europe Day), all eyes were on the royal family as they joined in commemorating the end of World War II in Europe. But once more, it was seven-year-old Prince Louis who quietly stole the spotlight.

Standing alongside his older brother, Prince George, and their father, Prince William, Louis brought his signature sass to the solemn occasion.

According to professional lip reader Nicola Hickling, a hilarious father-son exchange was caught on camera during the military parade. As troops marched past, Prince William tried to spark Louis’ interest, reportedly saying, “They are grabbing their bars, isn’t it great?”

Without missing a beat, Louis replied, “They are marching straight.”
Then, when asked if he could see the troops turning or lining up, Louis answered with pure kid logic: “They’re going in a circle.”

But the moment that really got everyone talking? When Louis, ever the tiny realist, asked, “Isn’t this supposed to be fun?” — complete with an eye-roll that could rival any big sibling’s.

The internet loved it. One fan on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, “Prince Louis and his eye roll. Haha!” Another added, “The baby brother eye roll. We’re in for years of Prince Louis gold!”

Despite facing some heavy moments in recent years—like the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and his mother Catherine’s public cancer battle—Prince Louis continues to bring levity and laughter wherever he goes. With each appearance, he’s proving to be not just a royal, but a relatable kid with a big personality and an even bigger fan base.
