RFK Jr. Sounds Alarm on 5G: “What If It’s Harming Our Brains?”

At a recent NewsNation Town Hall, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. raised eyebrows by warning that 5G technology could pose serious health risks, including effects on the brain and even cancer.

He didn’t just throw out wild claims—Kennedy came armed with scientific studies and a call for caution.

🧠 What’s the Concern?

Kennedy pointed to research showing that certain kinds of radiation—like the 1.3 GHz waves used in some wireless tech—can weaken the blood-brain barrier in rats. This barrier is what protects our brains from harmful substances in the bloodstream.

In the study, even short bursts of radiation allowed small molecules (like D-mannitol) to sneak through that barrier, which left Kennedy asking: What could be happening to our brains over time with constant 5G exposure?

He’s not saying 5G is instantly dangerous—but he’s worried that low-level exposure every day might be doing more than we think.

🎗️ Is There a Cancer Risk?

Kennedy also touched on cancer concerns, referencing studies where rats exposed to high levels of radiation developed tumors. While health agencies like the FDA and American Cancer Society say there’s no solid proof linking phones to brain cancer, Kennedy says the long-term risks are still unclear—and we might be overlooking them.

📱 So What Does He Want?

Kennedy isn’t calling for a ban on phones or 5G, but he is pushing for:

  • More independent testing
  • Greater transparency from tech companies
  • Updated safety standards that take into account pulsed radiation patterns, which are more common in 5G

⚖️ Why This Matters

For Kennedy, this is about not blindly trusting convenience over caution. As 5G continues to expand, he wants the public to ask tough questions—before it’s too late.
